Senado Square, or Largo do Senado, is one of the main city centers. Although the tourists often out number the locals, you will find plenty of both here.
Not only is this close to lots of sights, it is one of the most visited areas in Macau too. This is a good place to have a taxi drop you off, since everyone knows where it is and there is a lot to do nearby. Pronounced close to "Sahn Ma Lo" in Cantonese, many locals also know it as Largo do Senado or just Senado.
Going through my old photos, I have surprisingly few of this plaza. I'll try to remember to get a few more on a future trip
